Dr. Pawan Bista completed his undergraduate dental studies in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2005, before pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience in Germany with a research focus on dental pain and anxiety. He brings over 20 years of clinical experience, advanced postgraduate training in dental implants, and a calm, considered approach with every patient. He is happy to consult in English, Nepali, Hindi or German.

Dr. Mona Giri completed her undergraduate dental degree in Kathmandu, Nepal, in 2005, and a Master’s in Periodontology and Implantology at NAMS, Bir Hospital, in 2013. Registered with the Dental Board of Australia since 2019, she practises in Brisbane with over 20 years of clinical experience, focusing on gum health, clear aligners and children’s dentistry. She is known for her gentle, patient-centred approach, consulting in English, Nepali or Hindi.

You can book online or by phone. When booking, let the team know if you would prefer your appointment to be conducted in Nepali or Hindi. There is no referral needed to see a general dentist in Australia. If you have private health insurance, bring your card. If your child is eligible under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule, no out of pocket cost applies for eligible services.
A written treatment plan is provided where further care is recommended. The reception team will assist with health insurance claims, Medicare rebate processing and any payment plan enquiries. Follow up appointments are arranged before you leave if ongoing care is needed.
If you have not seen a dentist since arriving in Australia, or if it has been some time since your last check up, a first appointment at Warner Dental is a straightforward way to understand your current oral health and put a plan in place.
